Why Revival

About Revival

American Culture is adrift these days. The major factors are the loss of our Christian and Political history. The two significant factors in our past are intertwined with one another. That is why both must be studied and relearned in how they support or weaken one another.

But the significant loss is the knowledge of both of them. History shows that the failure to look to our history, results in the needless repetition of the same mistakes.

Even if we were to try and correct mid-stream, we also have the headwinds of an increasingly dangerous and corrupted world system. A system that has been influenced by a significant political and economic world power. And that is the USA.

Free countries worldwide have looked to us for their model and security. Unfortunately, since the Cold War, we have become increasingly isolated and no longer willing to offer help or understand how to help.

Where to Start

We need to learn our true history.

I doubt anyone, including myself, was everTaught our unadulterated history.  The beginning of our country would be a good start from the religious faith of so many and the disregard for the rights of Native Americans.  And in the middle, the hypocrisy of both.  The savages were not noble, and the colonists were not civilized.

What is to be gained

  • an appreciation of the complexity and individualism of Natives and Colonists.
  • the chances for freedom and wealth that eluded the people of Europe.
  • the fear of natives losing it all.
  • how the strong faith of colonists sustained them through their hardships.
  • The harsh treatment of Africans and the worst treatment by African tribes who sold them.
  • The fallacy of the "Lost Cause" and the public display of Southerners against African Americans.
And how these factors enabled the growth of the world's most influential and prosperous country.
