Voice of the Martyrs

Persecution exists in most countries around the world.  In the western hemisphere people are increasingly engaging in sinful life styles and dismissing th truth of the Gospel.
But Ebrahim Firouzi is steadfast in his witnessing for Christ.   And his joy comes  from his intersection with hate, disbelief, and joy for those who are no longer lost but are on the path to Heaven.

“I never regret my testimony for Christ.”
Ebrahim Firouzi was sentenced to 10 years in prison after his first arrest, in 2011, for his ministry work in Iran. But imprisonment didn’t hinder Firouzi’s witness to Christ. After his release, he continued sharing the gospel at every opportunity, always eager to bring hope to his Iranian neighbors.

“My only priority was that people would be able to hear and receive the Word of God,” Firouzi said.

He was arrested again in 2013, serving a total of seven years in prison. That imprisonment was followed by two years of internal exile, during which he was required to check in with local police.

“By God’s grace, I endured a few years in prison in exchange for an eternity with him,” Firouzi said.

In February, Ebrahim Firouzi began his eternity with Christ, after dying from what was reportedly a heart attack.

Listen to Firouzi’s testimony, originally recorded in Farsi, honor his memory, and be inspired by his faithfulness and courage in the face of threats, imprisonment and loss.
